The Vinotemp company has been manufacturing wine cabinets and wine racks for over 20 years. The business was started by Frances Ravel who began by selling his own wine. That led him to the innovation of a cooling cabinet for storing wine. One of his creations is the Wine Mate cooling unit (the only UL approved wine cooling system). Since Vinotemp has had a long time to develop better products, they now have a very wide selection of affordable wine coolers and the range of wine coolers and cellars extends to the very high-end, larger wine cabinets as well.
