No touchy! posts:
I am planning to have this as one of my side dishes on Thanksgiving. The less ingredients the better, but also the more calories the better. Hey its a holiday, who cares about calories.
**NO VELVEETA PLEASE!!!

Until very recently I didn’t know people “baked” their Mac n Cheese! Truly I didn’t even think of that possibility. I still do NOT bake mine as time and oven space are at a premium and this is such a simple dish!
2 cups dry Mac any style or blend of styles of pasta
cook it according to instructions on package, drain, toss with 2 tablespoons butter and set aside. (this prevents the mac from sticking in a huge clump)
1 can cream of whatever condensed soup, undiluted
1 soup can anything from heavy whipping cream to water
2 tablespoons butter
2 to 4 cups grated cojack cheese or half jack cheese and half sharp cheddar (I really like Colby and keep it in a huge amount)
Bring soup and liquid to almost boil, add butter and stir in cheese. Keep stirring til cheese is melted. Pour over Mac.
You can add a couple cups diced or sliced mushrooms to the soup if you like, It makes it more festive. And a higher protein content as well, but we don’t tell people that.
Try the bowties and wheels or something like that instead of always elbow mac!!!
